As you are probably aware, the server that hosted the NAI National website, blogs, and many of the Region and Section websites had a major malware affliction that spread and had to finally be shutdown mid-January. So here we are with our newly created web site and blog area. We hope you will explore, leave us comments, send us content, events, information, and photos to post and share.
There is an email link on up on the right-side top corner to send news, pictures and event info, and you can leave comments here on our postings. We look forward to hearing from you and sharing with you. A certain image may come to mind when you think of the desert. Where I live in Sedona, AZ, we are a bit over 4,000 feet in elevation. That means we occasionally get snow. It really is beautiful against the famous Red Rocks of Sedona. Here is a picture of iconic Bell Rock and a recent snow storm. Have any of you been to Sedona in the snow? Regional Director, Jeff I just wanted to let everyone know that NAI’s silver anniversary workshop will be held this year in Reno, the heart of the silver state of Nevada.
Over 100 concurrent sessions and fascinating keynote speakers will compete for your attention, along with breathtaking vistas of the Sierra and Great Basin ecotone, western history, Lake Tahoe, and incredible networking & professional development opportunities for interpreters from all over the world. The workshop committee is working hard to line up all of the details to make this a really great workshop in a fascinating place, so don't fail to put Reno Nevada on your travel calendar for November 6-9! You too will find huge nuggets of interpretation. |
